Project Stream

annual opportunity to impact your community through the arts!

On June 20th each year all grant applications to the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) Project Stream are due.

This grant opportunity is very competitive in the Lehigh Valley, with 30-50 submissions each year. Individuals, community groups, and nonprofit organizations are all eligible to apply for up to $2,500. Only third year recipients are required to match the grant award.

This funding source seeks to fund arts activities that directly impact the community. If you’re interested in applying please review the grant’s guidelines, especially the section on  eligibility requirements and restrictions. The  2018-19 PPA Project Stream Guidelines are available below.

Through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Lehigh Valley Arts Council has administered the PPA program for the last thirteen years across Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon counties.

The amount of funding available in the 2019-20 granting season remains the same as last year – $39,709. There were 33 grants awarded last year.

In May 2019 the Arts Council will hold three grant writing workshops, free to the public, designed to help prepare those interested in applying for a Project Stream grant. Aspiring applicants are highly encouraged to attend one of these workshops.

If you have questions about this grant opportunity please email Community Engagement Manager, Zach Kleemeyer.
