Project Stream


Another year means another chance to create! Mark your calendars: June 20, 2017, is the deadline for applications to the 2017–18 Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Project Stream Grant opportunity.

The Project Stream grant is very competitive and offers up to $2,500 to eligible individuals, community groups, and nonprofit organizations to conduct arts activities for the community. The Lehigh Valley Arts Council administers the program in Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon counties.

Aspiring applicants are encouraged to attend one of the following workshops in May of 2017:

The amount of grant funding available has increased by $5,000 for a total of $39,709. Each year the Arts Council selects community leaders, artists, and arts professionals as panelists to adjudicate the applications. Twenty-two grants were awarded for 2016–17.

The new 2017–18 grant guidelines are expected to be released by the end of April. Those looking to get an early start can find last year’s guidelines below.
