PPA PROJECT STREAM
In the Lehigh Valley, the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) Project Stream is a grant opportunity drawing nearly 50 submissions every year.
The PPA Project Stream is a statewide arts grant opportunity. Through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Lehigh Valley Arts Council administers the program in Carbon, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties.
Designed as an annual opportunity, applicants may apply to the PPA Project Stream for a grant up to $2,500 to help them produce an innovative, community-based arts activity. Reaching underserved communities is a major goal of the grant opportunity. Only third year grant recipients are required to match a grant award.
Who can apply?
Individuals, community groups, and nonprofit organizations. You do not need to be a 501c3 organization to apply. Also, this is not a fellowship grant or designed to solely promote any individual artist’s work.
28 Project Stream grants were awarded last year.
