In a normal year, we explore different ways to make a performance onstage, but in the age of COVID, what is that stage? This summer, we’ll spend two weeks romping through mediums of distance-safe performance – from old timey radio plays to NPR interviews, performative spaces to viral video crazes. Together, we’ll assemble on Zoom to go over the day’s project focus, split into breakout groups for writing and creation blitzes, and come back to share. Make sure your phone is charged, and get ready to create original performances— 2020 style!

Unleash the designer within you! In this class, taught by Rae Labadie, Artistic Director of the Production Arts Department, you will learn the basics of design for theatre with exercises in costume, set, sound, props and lighting design for “Alice in Wonderland”. $145 for week-long session
