Arts Calendar

  • Although the arts are best experienced up close and personal, the spread of Covid-19 has required people to stay at a safe distance from others. Adapting to this new reality has many arts businesses expanding their digital foot print.
  • Now, we’ve assembled a new resource to highlight the virtual activities that our members are producing. Please page through the latest version of the Calendar Launch Pad on the right.

The Arts Calendar, the go-to resource for arts and culture events in the three county region, is produced by the Lehigh Valley Arts Council. Below on this page is a digital version of the calendar.

Porcelain vessels completely sealed except for a tiny pinhole at the top invite visitors to change their mindsets and ponder the poetry of form. In addition to these signature creations by the artist, who settled later in life in Hunterdon County, NJ, other works on view include tea bowls, a two-spouted vessel from the 1950s, and a large bullet-shaped glazed porcelain.

“The Mozart Experience” is the second of two programs created and performed by the Magic Circle Mime Co. for the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center. A mischievous street musician finds herself thrust into the role of Mozart in this concert program for chamber orchestra. Presented by the conductor with opportunities and dilemmas similar to those faced by Mozart, the street musician slowly evolves into a modern-day Mozart. From extravagant youth to the appearance of the apocalyptic “mysterious stranger,” the audience experiences Mozart’s life as a musical, human adventure.

Share the genius of Mozart and inspire the children in your life! The perfect introduction to some of the most perfect music ever composed: “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik,” Symphony No. 40, “The Magic Flute” and more.
